Okay, here we go.
My T-60 - 00395161
Should be also '79 as my T-40, am I right? Yes sir, it's a '79 as well.

how do i find out what year this code dates it to? Yep. It's a 1980. You can use the matrix in the link above or post the serial number on the Peavey forum and AJ will date it for you.

I don't think I've seen anyone else own multiple T's with the serial numbers as close as those.

| If your still collecting them I'll throw mine in. I have a Sienna T-40 with a maple neck and "toaster" pick-ups. Serial number is 00620364. I don't know what year it is. | |

IIRC, that would be an '81 or '82.

| I've got a Natural/Maple T40 with toasters, # 00475730. I've always assumed it's a '79. (I bought it new in '80)

Thanks for the serial info, got yours added.

| Hey, Tony... Not that I'm trying to add work to your plate, but do you want the fine folks here to give you the other details, as well -- type of body (slab or contour), pickups (blades or toasters), PAF headstock, finish, toggles (flats or bats), Black stencil outline around truss rod cover, etc...? Oh, and does the ITOC extend to T-40 owners, as well? | |

Oh, and does the ITOC extend to T-40 owners, as well? Those details would be great. They help me figure out when certain things were changed at the factory. To keep this thread from stealing way too much bandwidth everyone could message the details to me. I wouldn't see why T-40 Forum members wouldn't be welcomed into ITOC. Seems we've got a few bassists on the T-60 Forum that joined up. Geezer and Scott come to mind.

I don't think I've seen anyone else own multiple T's with the serial numbers as close as those. Thanks for adding em'. That pretty much struck me as odd too. I bought them both off of evilbay and for different prices. Both of which were on both sides of the country. I didn't ask for the serial number of the one in the pic when I bought it.

| I'm in the process of getting the serial number database added to the T-60 Forum and would like to do the same here. Before I can do that I need permission from folks to post their name and/or user name along with their serial numbers. If you would like your name attached to your serial number(s) please PM me. If you haven't submitted your serial number(s) and would like to, please PM me. | |
