Hi to all out there. I visit this site now and again,
just to keep in touch.
Not being very good with the concept of the way
these things work, I am as guilty as the next man,
when it comes to being involved.
So, to bring some life to it, I thought I had better
join in and hope that others may do the same.
I am based in the middle of the UK, which I belive
is smaller than some of the States in the USA and
because of this, Peavey T's are quite rare.
I have read in one of the posts that someone is
moving on their collection and this is what promted
me to post this message.
I am sure you will miss them when they are gone.
I have 11 T-40's and 9 T-60's and they all have their
own character/feel.
It has sort of got a bit out of hand - wanting every
colour but they are GREAT instruments. I play them live,
lend them out and enjoy them.
I used to have a disease called "Classic Cars", which
I am almost cured of now and having been a member
of various clubs, the same thing happens in those circles.
There is only so many topics you can cover, until they
come round again and the other similarity is, it is mainly
the same core group that is involved. This doesn't mean
to say that they are exclusive, there are always a lot of
people who are watchers, sit on the sideline.
So, if there are any "watchers" out there, if you do nothing
more than post "Hi" you are now involved.
I have played and owned a LOT of instruments over the
years, to compare the "T" to and the thing we must all
remember is a Peavey T is a very good instrument.
I have loaned out some of mine to Die Hard "F" & "G" players
and although some don't like to admit it in public, they do
like them.
I hope to hear something from a watcher - let us know what
you have and how often you play it live/record with it.
All the very best.
Flat Eric.
