Back in the family...

Hi all.

I got my first T-40 back in early 1979. I sold it for beer money in about 1986. I've regretted it ever since.

I just won an ebay auction for a T-40, and am about to re-unite with my bass playing heritage.

Anyway- I just wanted to say 'hi'

Hey, which one did you get? I've been watching eBay lately. I probably saw it. Was it that awesome near mint one that just sold for like $660?

I, too, have replaced an old one. I had a 1981 that I bought new and loved, but in 1986 it got stolen. So I just found a replacement for it, and it is great to have it back in my family!

Nope. I bought the cheap one that was missing a knob. I'm still shocked that I got it for under $300. Turns out the phase toggle is also broken, so it's being repaired before it gets shipped. I hope to have it in about 3 weeks.

I'm pretty exctied. I have new DR Sunbeams, and also ordered a set of dunlop straplocks and a new Levy strap to handle the weight.
