Fury basses

Hello,

I'm searching for a nice 4 string fury bass, as the T40 is obviously too heavy, for my kid, he is very gifted for music and seems to love bass !
After some searches on the net I've found that the Fury could be a nice model for him ...
The standard Pbass style one.
, but it seems that there is some quality differences with the years, no ?
the logos are not the same and sometimes says 'handcrafted in the USA" or Crafetd in the usa" .... some got the Super ferrite ...
I've seen a lovely one with the neck black lackered !!!

So which years, models ?
