PostSubject: Now the blind shall See...(UPDATE: 2 New Basses)   Mon Jul 14, 2008 12:54 pm

What up folks! As promised. PICTURES bounce

It was hard to take Pics because i didn't have enough stands and the curved multi-stand wasnt really helping much. If i had to do it again I would have put the two maples facing the Rosewoods, I think that would help. But, without further to do- heres a quick picture of all my Black Beauty's (I affectionately call them "my black bitches").

The T-40's

The T-40's with the T-60

The Headstocks-

Okay- Here they are individually.

This one is "The Father". Its the first one I got and my only Maple Bass.

This is "The Son". Or Jesus if you will. The second one I got. This one is really beat up so He's aptly named Jesus, cause, well, JEsus got the crap beat out of him.

Here is one Mod i did on this one. It didn't come with the original switches so i put these on-

They are the Skulls of Golgotha. Or the two criminals crucified next to Jesus. Jesus rose from the dead while they decomposed and turned into skulls.

Here's "The Holy Ghost". Another Rosewood one and my third one. A nicer version of the Rosewoods. This one has a Low B sting on it.

Okay, here's the fourth one. I call this one, "Judas" since I traded an Ibanez Iceman for it. I would have saved the skull knobs for the switches if i knew i was gonna get this. But too late. Already on Jesus. But im gonna have to do something with these cause they annoy the **** out of me. Also, the rosewood neck is kind of faded. I'll probably get this modded into a fretless bass. but, not for a while.

Here's the switches on this one. Don;t they annoy you? They annoy me.

Now, My T-60. I call this one "St. Peter, The Rock."

My Non-Peavey's-

One by one- This is the bass i learned how to play on. I call it, "Bassasaurus". It's an Ibanez.

Now, my main bass. A MusicMan Stealth Bongo. A fiver. I call this one, "Bassenstein". Or The Creature. Or the Monster. Or Bassenstein's Monster. Or The Eve of his Labours, or....It has a bunch of names.

Now last but not least- My 1978 Fender MusicMaster short scale bass. I call this one, "Baby Jesus".

Now i didnt put that "J.C." on the body. It was there when i got it and the previous owner said he bought it like that. Has no idea how it got there. So, I figured it was a sign form God that I should buy this bass. JxCx= Jesus Christ Or JEsus Cristo. So i did. I put the Jesus Fish on there. Just had to.

So that's it I guess. Thanks for checking them out ! ! ! !

I also got a couple more pics to show ya of some, well, ill keep it a surprise.

Thanks! Let me know what you think of my black bitches!

Thanks!

UPDATE: For anyone who still roams around here. Here's another T-40. I've had it for a while now but just got around to take a picture of it and posting it here.

I call this one- CAIAPHAS:

And here is a Six String Bongo i have.

This one I call- BARABBAS:

So enjoy and please post a comment for anyone who lurks about. I have a couple things i could post. I have a zillion spare parts. Pickups, Pick Gaurds, screws, Truss Rods, two bodies, a cracked neck, i mean- i have a dump load of things i should get rid of. Anyhow.

I also have two pleasent surprises i could post and should and will. Soon. So people, if you're still around peek in and look.

PEACE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Damn Viktor,

That's a hell of a lot of GEETARS! LoL!

Very cool photo shoot!

I hear you about the stand problem, I can never get a group shot of all my basses 'cause I'm too cheap to buy all the stands I'd need! Laughing

Nice herd brother! I take it that you like black as much as I like red.

Viktor, WOW...what a collection. Thanks for taking the time and effort to post and share your arsenal!! I need a black/rosewood T-40 sometime.

I'm very jealous of your Bongo. I've always wanted one of those and that looks like a beast. I'm green with envy.

What's your impression of the tone you can achieve out of the short-scale Musicmaster? That looks really cool. Again, thanks for the effort!

Hey, Amigo! ¿¿¿¿Que Tal????

I play through an AMPEG 8x10 with an AMPEG SVT-4 PRO head so I am playing through a monster. It's a tube amplifier and i get a real huge heavy sound with it. It goes perfect with my MuiscMen but i have a little trouble finding the right tone for my T-40's through it. I have a very heavy attack.

¡Viva Mexico!

Ack! (Stretch, yawn, rubbing eyes). I'm a Vampire, asleep, I forgot to wake up!!!! We do that and if we're not careful we end up hibernating. Eep. Geez, how long has it been since I've been here???? These pictures bring back memories. Some of these basses I still have, some I don't, and none of the T-40's remain in my possession. Uuuuugh. But I'm on the prowl.

Need...new...T-40...must...have...new...T-40.....
