| What he means is we think its from 1980, but theres no real way to tell with out pics. | |

I came into possesion of this bass from my cousin who came into posession of this bass from his high school music dept.!!! its kind of beat up but sounds excellent. I was stoked to find this comunity. hi thur ervrybody! | |

| Chip and others still at Peavey have said there is no hidden codes in the serial numbers. We have a good idea of the year based on the first four numbers. | |

I thought they said the serial numbers were based on equations from the Mayan calender and when properly arranged would give the date of the end of the world as we know it? Did I miss something? | |
