Hello to everybody !
I'm searching a T-40, and noticed 2 different pick ups style: bladed and not bladed : what is best ? or what is the sound diffs ?

Yes I've also been looking at the Fury bass, that seems to be a really nice one, certainly lighter ! Very Happy
BTW, There is a Fretless Fury with just 1 super Ferrite PU on Ebay now ...

So I come to the question : What is the advantage of the 2 Humbuckers ?
Answer : you can get a lot more different sounds than with the other PU config, right ?

I have had both. I found that the blades gave a brighter sound but they produced a loud "clank" if the strings hit the blades - the toasters were far more forgiving in that respect.

I have had both as well and I personally like the toasters. The T-40 is a pretty bright instrument to begin with and the blades seem to accentuate it.
