| I tried posting the forum on the bottom of the wikipedia page, but that didn't work for some reason.
Maybe we should open the forum up to all PV basses, and have sub categories for each series. Just a thought. Any other ideas on how to get this forum off the ground?

| Hi free,
I'm already working on trying to get the word out about this forum. I wouldn't have any problem with other Peavey bass owners joining. The more the merrier!!! I've owned a Dyna, Fury, and a T-20 in the past, it's all good.

| I've edited the Peavey guitars page on Wikipedia before. I'll give it a shot. Oops. Can't find my user ID and password. | |

| Ola. Registered yesterday, I'm putting the original parts back on a T-40, there'll be one more in the world if I ever get to it. I must say, I've always thought that the preparation is the hardest part, but just by checking the Peavey company site & T-60 site( and now here ), I'm done with the prep already. Have to thank you folks, didn't expect to find everything at my fingertips like that. It's really a back-burner project, especially with Christmas coming, but when I found the old parts...anyways, glad to join, of course there's a story so when I find the right thread & have time here at work to type it up I'll post it. - later | |

| Welcome to the show! You'll soon find out (if you haven't already) that us Peavey folks are a pretty decent breed. | |

| Welcome jtre, there's nothing more satisfying than putting together a project guitar, or finding a great deal We'd all love to see pics when it's done, or in progress. | |

| Well said Scott. I'll add a third pleasure to the list. Finding a group of players with the same instrument and hanging out with them here. | |

| Thanks Alvaro, all T-40 players....well all T series players need to know about this site. You know, the T-20 & T-45 are awesome basses too.
Alvaro, I checked out some of your YouTube stuff, very impressive. I also noticed you have a Rickenbacker 4003, I also have one and LOVE IT!!! I have the Amber Fireglo which was the color of the year for 2006. Great stuff!!!

| Thanks Alvaro!! I followed your link It looks like a great forum here, I have to look around. I'm the proud owner of two T-40's and a T-20! I call this one Plain Grain Jane due to the totally blah wood grain on the body. It plays great though. Vintage pearloid from WD Music. My T-20, a recent eBay aquisition. I removed the pickup ring/thumb rest off. I just didn't work for me. | |

Looks like you have some very nice gear. Welcome to the forum. Thanks! WD Music takes about two weeks to deliver a pickguard, I assume they make them to order. Mine fit perfectly. I often make my own but the material cost almost as much as their finished T-40 guards. I just won this Fury/T-20 "hybrid" I also won the orginal neck that I'm pretty sure I can fix. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=120204645272&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=002
