Wow. Looking more closely at those pics, there is a possibility that this is my first T-40. I know quite a lot of them were made, and it's in Texas, but still.
On my first T-40, the E-string ferrule was replaced, the switches and pots were cleaned at the same time and the guy "lost" the chrome/silver washers under the switches, the cap plate at the neck/body connection was pretty badly scratched/worn, the serial ended in 008 (almost 007, lol, I remember that) and the head stripe went around the TRC. The scratch did not exist back then, she had an OHSC, and she had the factory vinyl pickgaurd label sticker. He does say the pickgaurd has no cracks, so unless he missed one that's a point against, although mine was just extremely barely visibly under one of the screws near the phase switch; the countersunk portion was cracked radially about 1/4 of the way around the screw head. Another thing the guy that replaced the ferrule did.
Could she be my long-gone baby? I guess since I have no photos or documents I will never know for sure, but wow that's a lot of coincidences....
