| I'm not sure about either of those necks fitting a T-40 neck pocket. I think a Foundation might. If you have to replace the neck, don't you have the body? I'll measure the pocket of my T-40 and post later today. | |

| i dont have the t-40, neither the foundation, the idea was to get a t-40, a foundation 5 strings neck and make my dream 5 strings bass. | |

| You ought to commission Chip to built a T-50 for you. He started one for Scott a while back. Bobby Rio has one now. | |

| someone should post a pic of that five string T-40. a completed one.
I have a T-60. Black/maple. Even though the neck is too small i want to keep it as is. Though i want to get another T-60 black and replace the neck with a fender strat. Would the Fender Strat neck fit the T-60 for sure????
That would be sweet if i can do it. Maple fender strat neck.
also, if anyone knows if a 21 fret mexican strat and a 22 fret american strat necks are the same scale length, are the frets of on an american slightly smaller???? im not sure. any info would be appreciated.

| Here's a pic that Chip sent after he completed Bobby's T-50. http://www.geocities.com/tbussey2000/t50.jpgA Strat neck won't fit without modifying the neck pocket on the body. Something about the 21st fret extension and the heel don't fit. I have heard from a couple of people that a Tele neck fits without major surgery. That being said, if you choose to change your T-60 neck out I would be interested in buying it. | |

| Whoa!!!!!!
That T-50 looks INSANE ! ! ! ! ! !
Now I need one of those-
Or how about...Dare i Say...
...a T-666?????
A six stringer F R O M H E L L ! ! ! ! ! ! !
That would be ultimate. IT needs 24 frets though. Black on Black. Maple Neck.
...dude...dude...
...dude.
A Tele neck???? But Telecasters aren't as cool as Strats!!!!!!
But really, im not a guitar player so, major differences from a Tele neck and a Strat neck...?????
anyone? | |

| Chip also has a T-660. It's got a short scale 12-string neck up top and a normal six string on the bottom. Wicked cool.
I'm not much of a Fender fan, so I don't know much about the differences in the Strat and Tele neck. I think the only difference is the heel of the Strat neck is rounded and has that extra fingerboard hanging off the end while the Tele is squared off.
