| The bidding (especially the names) do look fishy. | |

| The names appear that way as a result of an ebay push to improve security. It keeps bidders identities secret to prevent them being contact by scammers.
When I was bidding on a number of basses a while back I kept getting messages from people in China and it was a real PITA.
I agree the zero feedback bids may be a bit suspect but there are a few bidders with more feedback that seem legit.
Nice looking bass, shame the seller doesn't ship outside the US.

| There is currently no way that I know of to determine if bidders are legitimate. I guess if you don't go beyond a preset limit that you determine, it doesn't matter. Problem is shill bidding will artificially inflate the price eliminating the possibility of a good deal. | |

| Nice T-40. It's up over 500 bucks now, and I must say that even if I had five bills to drop, I would definatley wait for one with rosewood and toasters.
Still, even at that price, it's a deal compared to just about any other USA made instrument.

| The one that I modified was exactly like that one, except for the wiring having a couple of extra switches added and the body being routed a little bit under the pickguard. | |
