Excellent forum here. Love the layout too.

The Peavey T series basses are very underrated. I've owned at least 5 over the years but don't currently have one. I do, however have 2 T-45's. They are excellent basses and the humbucker kicks @ss. However I play a lot of Beatles, McCartney, Smithereens, Death Cab For Cutie type music so I replaced the stock pickup with Dark Stars. I also mostly use flats for strings.

I do plan on getting another T-40 in the future. They're great!!!!

Other basses I currently own:

Rickenbacker 4003
Fender Jazz USA
2 Custom Chip Todd basslets.

The basslets are really fun to play. They have a Peavey Super-Ferrite pickup which is really powerful. These little guys kick.

Seems like a really good place to be I dont play a T-40 I did for years but then i dont play bass right now I will get a T-40 if for no other reason that to just have a great bass I do have several T-60 and thanks again for a great place to come and play

Yeah, I've heard of this Rick feller. Seems like I heard he owns one or two peaveys? I could be wrong though!!!!!

Yep. And I hear he loves to talk a little too. I've heard him say he can't play a lick, but don't believe him.
