metal nut slipping Empty
PostSubject: metal nut slipping   metal nut slipping I_icon_minitimeTue Jun 11, 2013 9:10 am

Has anyone had trouble with the metal nut slipping out of position? My best guess is that the position of the posts seem to "pull" the nut towards the bass side about a 16th" or more. It seems mine has become "unglued" and slips easily. Not that big of a deal, string tension keeps it in place. Just bugs me. I have thought about replacing with plastic or bone......scared I'll lose tone!!! Advice or opinions?
