PostSubject: Worn down serial number   Wed Jun 19, 2013 10:41 am

Hi to all, new member and new owner of a T-40 here. I finally found a T-40 but is in a not so great shape. I'm in the process of giving it a new life. I feel my bass was poorly refinished at one point. The headstock was re stained over the peavey decal and logo and i can barely read the serial number as the paint or stain seems to be thick, can't even confirm how many numbers are there, gives you an idea...

Any one hane a tip to help me read them ?

Thanks for any help
