Help Identifying my T-40 Empty
PostSubject: Help Identifying my T-40   Help Identifying my T-40 I_icon_minitimeWed Nov 30, 2011 6:34 pm

I got my T40 back in the summer of 2010
It has dots on pickgaurd
Made in USA
Black finish and black pickgaurd
Has TWO serial numbers one on headstock and one on my e string peg
Headstock #: 01014345
E-String Peg#: 04230818

It says on back of headstock: "U.S. PATENT NOS 4,164,163, & 4,237,944 AND OTHER PATENT APPLICATIONS PENDING"

So what I wanna know is: What year was it made? and How much is it worth?

Thank you,

Tyler

Tyler, Hi.

Just popped in here this morning and saw your post.

Your Forty is early 1982. That year ran from 0100 to 0129.

Not sure of the value - depends on various things and the condition.

Put up a pic or two??

Cheers. Smile

Sorry Tyler, I answered your PM before I saw your post.

Eric's right, it's a 1982.
