I can't remember where or when I found this out but I have 2 pics of John Mayer's bassist using a T-40. Don't even know the guys name but it's very cool to see it being used professionally.

Great pics Scott!
Didn't know anybody was currently using a T-40 on stage.

Hey Ya'll,

Sold that T-40 to David LaBruyere (John Mayer's band) back in 2004' at Eric Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival. He also bought a 78' Gibson RD bass and a fiesta red 80's Fender Performer bass.
Cool fellow! he hung out playing the basses for well over an hour then went out and played a killer set with Mayer later that evening!

That fall, Mayer was shopping in our booth at the Arlington Guitar Show and we got to talking about the basses. He said LaBruyere played the T-40 every chance he got for the rest of the tour. At the time, David was a Fender signed artist and had to play Fender Basses when on TV or film, so when you see the band on TV he typically uses a Fender bass.

Hi. Very interested in having a look but I can't open the image?

Any ideas why?

Cheers. Smile
