Hi everybody, the input jack of my T40 started to give me some trouble.
I removed the pickguard to see if I could repair it but it seems that the input is not working properly.
It does not hold the jack tightly and it does not connect correctly.
I doubt I can find a replacement input so I was thinking about placing a standard one in place of the phase switch.

Is this possible? Would I have to mod the pickguard?

The output jack on a T-40 should be on the bottom edge of the body. Several parts suppliers (including Peavey) have the barrel jack needed. Double check your connections to make sure they are solid.
