(I know... I always ask for pics) Well, that's understandable because as we all know, no pics=doesn't exist.

| Oooh, nice muted sunburst finish AND rosewood board. Very nice.
The dog looks scared, like he's going to leave a *mark* on that chair!!!
Beautiful T though. | |

| ...and i'm envious of the maple necks basses, never had one. i'll tell you about this one - bought it new for $300 i believe, put it right to work for the next year or two, i doubt it ever left the van. the next few years it was in a rehearsal hall for anyone to use. after that i was interested in modifications, so tried a couple of different humbucker pick-ups in the neck position, settled on a DiMarzio humbucker & changed the pots. as testimonials go, here's the kicker & i'm not exaggerating: i kept this bass for the next 15 or 20 years in a house by a salt water bay, couple blocks from the ocean. no matter what time of year you'd go there & pick it up, the bass would be in tune, no shift in the neck, nothing. only a little pitting by the top bridge saddle, which could even be from contact with my right hand. got the bug again a few months back & realized the switch was shot, so i went online to get one & saw that there was a bit of a following. so you folks left me no choice but to put it back to stock & since i'm nuts, i knew i had kept all the parts. in the course of putting it back, i lost a knob ( "it was there a minute ago" it's in the house somewhere, i blamed the dog ) and other than a couple of screws, it's all original, never routed, just re-soldered. the pickguard has some wear, both of the pick-up rings are cracked, but intact, the fretboard's in great shape, the body's finish is nice, a few slight dings & apparently i managed to avoid wearing giant belt buckles. got the case, too & the keys to lock it. compared to my other basses, this thing booms, very deep, not terrificly trebly.
i'd say i got my $300 dollars worth

| Great looking bass (the finish is beautiful) and cool dog too. Though, he does look scared, maybe he's a guitar player:-) You know they need so much attention... | |

| Not all of us guitar players crave attention. I'm one of them rhythm guys that likes to hang back with the bassist and drummer. | |
