I just picked up an 1981 T-40. The previous owner did some minor circuit mods, and I just want to compare the circuit to the stock diagram. But the only diagrams I can find online are dated 1983, and seem to have a slightly different circuit than mine, particularly the tone controls. Mine has resistors, but the 1983 diagram doesn't. Does anyone know where I can get an earlier schematic? I don't think my circuit has been monkeyed with too much... someone just disconnected one of the coals to make the neck PU a single-coil. But I just want to be sure. Any help appreciated. Cheers... Peter

Thank you, Frank... I send you an e-mail for that circuit diagram. For anyone else out there who was fooled by the little coupling caps that look like resistors... they are capacitors! My bad. They just look like little 1/4 Watt resistors. Cheers... Peter
