Just picked up a T-40 from preloved to go with my T-20. Been looking for ages for a T-40 in my price range... as low as possible!
It's a Natural/Maple with toaster pickups.
S/N: 00474946 (1979?)
It has a "transition" OHSC and not been played for years by the look of it.
It needs new strings and a good setup. I've opted for the Picato 735 LHY as recommended by FlatEric.

Looking forward to hooking this in to my 250W HH Bass Machine combo and letting rip at the next band practice... Some old school heavy/Sabbathy sounds.

Congrats! The serial number should be a late 1979.
