a friend new i was starting a band and presented me with a t-40 as a gift... the best gift actually... i figured i would play this bass until i knew exactly what i wanted.... its been about 2 years....and there is no....NO...other bass i would consider owning...
had the action and intonation set...its dialed and the best

I bought mine a few years ago with the same intentions. I even traded her off one time on a jazz. I missed it so much I went and bought it back, and eventually got rid of the jazz. I don't miss the jazz, and I won't make that mistake again. Even though I have other basses, the T40 is by far my favorite.
