Hi all! This bass, my Peavey T-40 is not new, but I just found this forum. And I would wish to join you guys! I love my peavey T-40, I think it might be a tobacco burst paint, or a sun burst paint. But this bass is the best bass for the price!! SOOOO, the one thing i need is another pot cap. (as you can all see is missing) Smile i believe it is a 78' or so.. i have not seen a T-40 bass with the color as mine. (for all of you, it might not be soo special). But to me this is one of the most unique basses I have ever owned. I look forward to see you all on this forum!

I've always liked that 'burst pattern. Looks like this is a 1983 model. The serial number is in the 1983 range. The blade pickups and headstock text point to a later model as well.
