| I see a lot of people lurking, There needs to be more participation or this site is doomed. What is it? Are people looking around for a good deal in this economy? Or, are we snobs? I tend to think it's the latter. Maybe I'm wrong. I dunno.....frustrated with the state of things..................................................................................................................................................................................................... | |

| Guilty Scott,
I've been so busy these last few weeks, I hope to get some time and post.
I think if we also mention to folks on other forums, that might get some much needed traffic. I only recently started posting on TALKBASS JUST for the Foundation & T40 links.
I would be nice to get some new blood flowing for sure!

| I'm guilty too. It's weird how the economy has effected things, truly. There are some SICK deals over on TalkBass but people just don't have the scratch. Dang. I'm actually going to be thinning the herd too. Not that I need the money, I just have too many basses and not enough space. | |

| I've done a bit of lurking too. I haven't had much time to dig in around these parts (or the other Peavey forums). | |

I need to as well, but for marital harmony! I just have too many. I find I'm using my new 4004Cii RIC and my T40's 90% of the time. But, with the economy being so lousy, now sure isn't the time to sell. I recently sold off my Alembic basses, they make the T40 feel like a Hofner! LOL....a good deal of RIC's have gone as well, more will go but the Peavey's are staying for now....only my 5er Foundation is expendable.

| I would love to own an Alembic man. One of them Entwistle ones. But damn so expensive. Hopefully one day. Yeah, i got lots of T-40's and T-40 junk to sell. Im in no hurry though i guess. I want to get the best price i can for them. I put so much work into them. IT be a shame to get a measily amount of money for them . | |

| The T-40 is played by a small percentage of musicians. Its not like the P or J bass. When I created this site I never even expected to see this much happen so I'm glad to see what I see.. A forum so specialized is going to have slow times. I think that's just they way it goes. I don't see it as a problem but I respect everyones opinion:-) | |

I am new and expecting some T40 bodies that a friend of mine is trading me. they are gutted and i want to put them back together. One is black and the other White...scottpro and ajish will recognize me from the RRF because I have had a TON of rickenbackers but I have always been fascinated with these basses and look forward to getting a couple...any help with parts would be much appreciated.... jaymi
