| Viktor...LMFAO!!!!! Yeah, those Japanese made Fenders were considered better quality than the Americans made at the time, I think. The early Squier series were made in Japan and are GREAT basses. I started out playing guitar. My first was a cheap black Les Paul knock off. Then I got the guitar that makes me cry my eyes out when I think that I sold it. It was a Gibson RD Artist. THAT guitar SCREAMED!!!!! I sold it when I changed over to bass around 1986. I realized that I sucked at guitar....boy do I wish I had that one back. My very first bass was a 1980 Rick 4001, again...stupid for selling Tony, thanks. I got her back Tuesday and I can't say it enough how PERFECT the neck is in every way. It's not a looker, it's been abused and knocked around through the years but there's no fret wear. I bet it stayed on someones guitar stand or just thrown in the closet for years, since it had no case when I bought it. It's got some lovin' now!!!!! | |

| Congrats Scott! I would donate almost any lower extremities for my first T-40 back. Almost any. | |

| Things in Minot are great. It's a nice city that is really booming. North Dakota as a state is booming with all of the oil that is being drilled. The economy everywhere else is crap. I've been to Grand Forks. It's nice there. You're right though. The cold and wind in the winter is crazy. There isn't really much snow though. Not nearly as much as back home in Massachusetts. | |

| Scott--I just now noticed you're at Minot. How's things out there? I was stationed at Grand Forks for 2 years in the early 90's. Liked it so much, I've never been back. I do want to go there sometime just for a nostalgic look around. Great people in ND but that weather! | |

| Thanks Yooper! I'll give you first consideration if I ever sell it, doubtful though. I still can't believe I'm getting it back. | |

| Scott-if for any reason you decide not to go through with this, let me know. I almost pulled the trigger on that T this morning when he was at 4. I backed off (DOH) and had to go to my folks house to help them with cleaning their garage. When I got home tonight, I checked here, saw you got it for 3. DOH again! Good for you though, bad for me. I hope you enjoy the hell out of it and good to know it's back in familiar hands. Nice rescore. | |

| Just got the word that my T-40 is coming back home. I'm soooooo excited. I could not let this bass go to someone else that I didn't know. Sounds crazy, but the way I found her in a pawn shop...just sitting there for months, it was almost like going to the pound and looking at the same dog who looked at you with "puppy-dog eyes"....you knew you HAD to have her. Rest assured, this bass will stay with me, and get passed down to my son. I'm stoked!! | |
