PostSubject: My amazing new toy.   Fri Jan 11, 2008 11:01 am

My new toy just arrived and I am delighted with it. She's a 1979 Peavey T-40 and I can't find a mark on her which is incredible for a 28 year old bass.

The sound is massive and I'll have more of a play when I have the right straplocks and a new pickup selector switch in place.

An added bonus was the mint condition original hardcase it arrived in.

Oops, was under the weather yesterday and the brain wasn't up to maths. Correct age now inserted.

Pickup selector switch and straplocks now installed and all working as it should. Once I get some new strings on it and drop the action a touch it'll be one hell of a bass. cheers
