| Very nice T-20!
Over at the T-60 Forum we discuss all vintage Peaveys. Nobody ever got booted for bringing up other brands either.

| Hell yes, bring on the T-20, T-40, T-45's!!! Also the MIA Fury, Foundation, Dyna, and Patriot too!!! I've owned all of the above mentioned basses except for a Foundation. I loved my Dyna but didn't like the volume increase/decrease when switching the active on/off. Really slim, fast neck. 1 1/2" nut. Seems even slimmer than a Jazz neck. The Patriot is a great bass too. I've heard it called a beginner bass but, IMHO it's anything but that. The older Fury and T-20 are identical to me. I don't get why they changed the name because all the electronics, bridge, tuners, neck, body are the same... I REALLY miss my T-20. The super-ferrite pickups are really HOT. My basslets both have them and honestly, for such a small bass, these little guys kick @$$. Congrats on your T-20, that's just like one I had. I swapped the cream pickguard for a tortoise, looked great....gotta get another T-20!!!! | |

| Knife, do you still have the slanted p/u surround with the thumbrest? If so and you're looking to sell it, I'd be interested. | |

| We have to keep in mind that we have members who are excited about this "T-40 only" forum. If I get this suggestion from more members in the future I will consider perhaps a vote. Although, converting to a "all peavey bass" format might cause this forum to loose all it's originality. I would ONLY do it if more than 50% of the members at that time agreed to it. I have my opinions but I would never argue with the majority. Thanks for the feedback!!!
AND NICE T-20!!!!!! | |

| I'd be ok seeing other early peavey basses on the forums, but if it would make everyone happy, perhaps a separate forum section for "other peavey basses". Nice T-20 you have there FL. I have an early model (1984) Fury with the same first generation super-ferrite pup. Almost the same bass, really, except for the smaller body. If you look under the pickguard of the T-20, you will find that despite the size above the pickguard, the pickup is acually larger than a T-40 pup! I guess I better post this now. Anyone want to trade a t-20 for a fury? | |

| Nice Fury!! I just recieved one yesterday. I need to take some better pics, the rosewood fretboard is really nicely figured. The seller bought it new in 85. The color is called Inca Gold. I want to make a nice pickguard for it, not sure what color/material yet This one had a T-20 neck on it but I also bought the original Fury neck from the same seller. After about 2 hours of cleaning and tweeking, it's playing NICE!!!! It has a nice thin, front to back neck profile, different than the T-20. The T-20 necks don't really fit the Fury body too well, just for reference | |

| Beautiful! I've never seen an old peavey in that color. Really sharp!
I wouldn't change the pickguard, Gold with Black guard is a classic color combo that really works. You see it on old fenders from time to time.
