I started playing an Old crappy Sonatone Bass (I think was Japanese). After, I got a Yamaha (RBX something), which I modified with DiMarzio pickups and a Khaler tremolo, but I quit playing and sold that stuff.

When decided to restart playing, I ...

I am staring with these....The black one was modified to look like a BC Rich or something....kinda cool but I am working on the white one first...

As far as I can tell, it is a 79 (white) and I have the neck to boot. If anyone wants the black body, let me know as I need some other pieces....

Cheers!!

It was hard to take Pics because i didn't have enough stands and the curved multi-stand wasnt really helping much. If i had to do it again I would have put the two maples facing the Rosewoods, I think that would help.
Hi all, here's a pic of my 2 new Peaveys. The t-40 needs some work, I bought the T-45 to use as a parts bass off ebay, but as you can see it's almost mint, so I'll have to keep it and look for parts. The T-40 is a '81, no idea on the 45.<a href="http://s83.photobucket.com/albums/j283/countshock/?action=view&current=IMG_5621.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j283/countshock/IMG_5621.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Here she is.

I found her in a pawn shop in 2003. She came with what I can only assume is the origninal tolex style hard case -never seen a tolex case that will hold a t-40 since-, still had the pickguard film with control labels, a very wide strap, allen keys and some really cool coiled cables, that unfortunately had not survived as well as the bass. I paid 250, which seemed like alot at the time, but seems like a steal now.

She has a few dings now -all my fault- at the end ...

Both are 1982's and great basses. I love the necks on both. Unlike a lot of people I like how heavy the bass is.
